Looper - Review

This is that kind of film that is made once every 10 years; a different kind of vision with a new story never told before and with a post-apocalyptic set very realistic AND also that kind of movie that will not win so much and won't be that famous as another worse sci-fi films like Avatar (which I personally hate so much).

Sorry, I had to put this! The brand new poster of Die Hard 5.0!! Bruce Willis
always kick ass!
This film is set in the future, a future where there are two kind of people, the rich and the poor, and guess what, there are thousands of poor people living on the streets and they act like zombies, literally while the rich spend all their money in parties and drugs. This is a very believable future as, if everything continues like this, I won't be surprised if it's like its shown here.

The plot is about assassins called Loopers that only kill people that are sent 30 years from the future because in the future it's impossible to kill anyone...the plot is very different from other movies and it's very well written so I don't want to spoil anything, I'll only say that the protagonist is a looper and the people from the future send him to kill his own person from the future.

Bruce Willis is the future version and he does what he can do best, he's great in this film you can feel his sadness and desire of vengeance. While Joseph Gordon Lewitt (from Inception and Dark Knight Rises) plays the young and present version, while he's like a young version of Mr. Willis he does a great job and he's the hihg note of this film, worth it enough to watch him play here!

It's a very entretaining film, while it has a lot of violence, naked scenes and drug use (but in a different way not so harmful), the best from it is the plot and the ending is quite good and, the most important, it makes sense for being a time-travel film.

BEST - Bruce Willis and Gordon-Lewitt playing the same character and the plot is quite awesome and correctly done.
WORST - Too much violence, I don't like that. And the entire "powerful-child" stuff, you'll undersand it once you see it.

7.5

It's a very good film with an interesting story, BUT  the violence, sex and drug scenes are too many and I don't like that, if it wasn't for that,  I'd give it an 8 or even an 8.5.
