Dishonored - Review
There are lots of games, all of them are very similar but only a few ones are remarcable and instant-classic, this is one good example and maybe the Best of 2012 Game of all!
In the game you are Corvo Attano, the main bodyguard of the Empress that is betrayed by the security director of the Empire by killing the Empress, abducting her only daugther and future empress and making you the responsible of everything. After escaping from jail thanks to some friends that know the real story and let you know who are the responsibles for this betrayal, you start a retribution against the fake goverment and the hunt to find the future empress.
As you can see, the story is pretty good and the best part is the gameplay; you can do your missions in any way you want to...you can kill the objectives or not, you can punish them or not, you can even leave them alive! And the best part is that depending on what you do and how you act, the story and atmosphere of the game can become darker with more foes or less...all depends on how you act!
The supporting characters are also very remarkable, they look and act very realistic, each one with their own personality.
The sounds, voices and music are excellent, I have nothing bad to say about it, you'll recognize some of the voices as some of those come from famous actors. Maybe the let down part are the graphics which could have looked better as it looks cartoon-like but it's forgettable as it fits perfectly with the ambient of the game. The ambient remembers a lot to the old London town from the industrial era; the interiors look the same and they give you a feeling of sadness and surprising!
The good thing and the main reason I put this game a high note is because it's different from other games; maybe it looks like Bioshock and Deus Ex together but it's completely different and in those days it's very, very hard to find a new game (and not being a sequel) that it's this awesome and it doesn't want to copy any other's style. In this you'll restart over and over again as you can end your missions in many different ways, and that thing is unique in here.

GRAPHICS (9) - Very good graphics, they may look a little old but it fits perfectly, the light and shadows are very well done!
SOUND (9.5) - The voices are amazing, the dialogues are very well written and the music is nice.
GAMEPLAY (10) - It's a lineal game but you have thousands of options on how to do them and you can choose your own path and there are many different endings!
STORY (9.8) - Good story and very interesting, the duration of the game depends on the way you play it, you can end it in 6 hours to 30 hours plus stuff to collect that agve you more powers.

This is by far the best game of 2012, the only game who could take out this position is Assassin's reed 3 but I don't think it will be that awesome as this!
