Ranking - Top 10 Favourite Final Fantasy Games

Image
My first Final Fantasy game ever was VII. I played in 1998 for the first time and I absolutely loved it since the first second while watching the amazing opening scene. More than 20 years and with fifteen different and original main games, I am happy to say I've played all of them!! Anyway, it was a hard ranking to make (as all of them), but here they are my favourite Final Fantasy games of all time. Let's start! 10. Final Fantasy VIII A great new world with amazing characters and a good but not perfect battle system. The main story is thrilling with some great and surprising moments. Some battles are memorable, especially the final boss that can take you up to five hours to finish it. 9. Final Fantasy VI Amazing casting and a great plot. The chance to play as so many characters while trying to defeat one of the best villains ever created make this a wild ride. The fact the entire games changes completely around half of the game makes it even better. I really

Ranking - Top 10 Best PlayStation 4 Games

Everybody remembers when Sony announced the first PlayStation, what the hell were they thinking? Competing against Nintendo and Sega? They are crazy! Now they're one of the top selling consoles in history with a list of thousand of video games from each generation. PS1 and PS2 era was epic and while this current one is actually more filled with remasters and remakes rather than original games, it's still has its pearls. Here's my personal Top 10 of favourite games from the PlayStation 4. Let's start!   10. Death Stranding It's not a game for everyone but we can agree it made its difference. While the gameplay can be too repetitive and "boring" sometimes, they epic plot makes you want to go until the end. Amazing casting (like a Hollywood movie) and a thrilling story filled with mystery, and don't make me talk about the photorealistic graphics... 9. Persona 5 An amazing JRPG filled with amazing characters and an intriguing plot. W

Nintendo's been around since forever and has made tons of consoles, video games and created infamous franchises. I've enjoyed every console they've released but I admit their last creation, Nintendo Switch, is one of my favourites. There are so many good games I decided to make a Top 10 with my favourite ones. Let's start! 10. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe There's always a new Mario Kart for every new Nintendo console and this may be one of the greatest ones. Adding new maps and upgrading old ones with the excellent old formula makes it enjoyable as always. It never gets boring to play Mario Kart with your friends. 9. Bayonetta 2 Again, already released for the WiiU, the witch is back with higher resolution and more customisable than ever. The plot may be the same as always but the gameplay and fights are the greatest every created in a video game.  8. Super Mario Odyssey It's a-me, Mario! And this time he's got a ship to fly around the wor

Review - Final Fantasy VII Remake

Image
The original game was released back in 1997 and it became and instant classic and one of the greatest video games in history. Now, 23 years later and after lots of requests regarding a remake, the promise has been fulfilled, kinda. An ex-SOLDIER named Cloud Strife is hired by an eco-movement called Avalanche to help them destroy the reactors of the infamous city Midgar controlled by the organisation ruling the entire city and practically everything named Shin-ra. The plot is practically the same as the original game with a few changes and expansions. We get more scenes and interactions with the rest of Avalanche, Jessie, Biggs and Wedge, and these are great, we get to know more from them. The graphics are photo realistic, the city of Midgar is impressive and immersive. You get to see reaction and discussions from the rest of the citizens while walking around which makes it even more realistic. There are times when the graphics are not fully loaded and have a low resolution,
