Doctor Who - Series 9 Review "Updated"

Image
Series 9 is becoming one of the strongest seasons in Doctor Who I have seen. Thanks to the great performances of Peter Capaldi as the Doctor and Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald, the show keeps going strong. With only 3 more episodes left plus the Christmas Special. I couldn't be more excited and cannot wait what they are going to do in the finale. Here there are the reviews from the six last episodes! 1. The Magician's Apprentice (9.5) Read Full Review Here 2. The Witch's Familiar (9.5) Read Full Review Here 3. Under the Lake (8.7) Read Full Review Here 4. Before the Flood (9.0) Read Full Review Here 5. The Girl Who Died (8.5) In a Viking village, a girl named Ashildr (played by Maisie Williams) is about to make a desperate mistake. The Mire are the deadliest mercenaries in the galaxy, famed for showing no mercy and Ashildr has just declared war on them. The Doctor and Clara have 12 hours to turn a peace

Fallout 4 - Review

Image
A great classic comesback, after some speculations about a possible sequel, Fallout 4 came to life last E3 revealing it was almost finished and releasing this year. Was the wait worth it? The game starts in a small suburb close by Boston, there's a family, a husband and a wife. You can change their appearances to look like you or someone you want to and choose to play as a male or female (I spent like an hour just customazing my character). After a short visit from a salesman, an alarm starts buzzing around and evrybody leaves their houses, a nuclear was has begun. Everybody run to the vault but only some of them are authorized to get in, your family is. Then, you discover they plan to freeze all survivors for some unknown reason. 200 years after the events, you wake up discovering they have kidnapped your son and killed your partner. You must leave the vault to the outworld and try to do everything to find him. That's the main plot, simple and easy to understand

Spectre - Review

Image
A cryptic message from the past sends James Bond on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia, the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as SPECTRE. Meanwhile back in London, Max Denbigh, the new head of the Centre of National Security, questions Bond's actions and challenges the relevance of MI6 led by M. Bond covertly enlists Moneypenny and Q to help him seek out Madeleine Swann, the daughter of his old nemesis Mr White, who may hold the clue to untangling the web of SPECTRE. As the daughter of the assassin, she understands Bond in a way most others cannot. As Bond ventures towards the heart of SPECTRE, he learns a chilling connection between himself and the enemy he seeks. While the last movies were a change from the classic Bond films, more realistic and darker (especially Casino Royale and Skyfall), Spectre returns to old basics, o

Remember the Fifth of November

Remember, remember!      The fifth of November,      The Gunpowder treason and plot;      I know of no reason      Why the Gunpowder treason      Should ever be forgot!      Guy Fawkes and his companions      Did the scheme contrive,      To blow the King and Parliament      All up alive.      Threescore barrels, laid below,      To prove old England's overthrow.      But, by God's providence, him they catch,      With a dark lantern, lighting a match!      A stick and a stake      For King James's sake!      If you won't give me one,      I'll take two,      The better for me,      And the worse for you.      A rope, a rope, to hang the Pope,      A penn'orth of cheese to choke him,      A pint of beer to wash it down,      And a jolly good fire to burn him.      Holloa, boys! holloa, boys! make the bells ring!      Holloa, boys! holloa boys! God save the King!      Hip, hip, hooor-r-r-ray!
