An Escape from Reality Too

This has been a looooooong year, there has been good things and bad things...but one of those good things is in videogames without doubt! It has been one of the best years in games and one of the worst years in music (smiley face). There's a poison in this planet, it makes change people's minds and it let them be easily controlled to do what it wants...this poison is making the planet change into something no one has ever trought it was going to become...a living Hell where everyone is a demon...we are living in a place where there may be a dead body in the middle of a street and nobody cares, that's not a movie what I'm talking about, that's the sadly real life... I have seen this show like a hundred times and never done a full review! That can't be right! What would happen if Sherlock Homes, Dr. John Watson, Professor James Moriarty and all characters created by my favourite writer Conan Doyle lived in the time of today? This TV Show is the answer, and has become the greatest adaptation of the greatest detective. I have been a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes since I was 6 years old watching "The Secret of the Pyramid", since then, never stopped to read his adventures and watching adaptations...I admit it, I am a huge fan of Sherlock and this character is one of my inspirations in life. But that's not the point, this show which the season 2 will start at the beginning of next year, is what matters...the story is a modern adaptation from his old adventures, the creators put the main plot of one of his known cases but they change some parts to make it different and modern...and that's a good thing, they have done it so well

There are some films that are made to become classic movies and other ones that are just "typical" (same story, same actors, same camera work, same special effects). This film made from a novel wisely called "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" is one of those that will become a classic and an Academy Awards nominee for sure. Not only for the story, which is quite entertaining but predictable, the characters and cinematic is very well done. But in my opinion, the best about this film is the actors, their acting is very well made, they may be not quite famous as others, but they are by far better than many others starting with the protagonist Gary Oldman, and actor that can do anything: he always looks different in all his movies, he can do from comedy to action passing to horror, any film he appears is a good reason to watch it and I wouldn't be surprised if he's nominated as best actor next year, he's the greatest thing of the film and one of the most underrate

After watching now all 4 Mission Impossible films, I can say that the last one is without doubt the best one from all. It's like joining the previous three films together: you take the spy-story from the first one, the action scenes from the second and the drama touch from the third. Maybe the only bad thing this movie has is the villain; maybe Philip Seymour Hoffman putted the level too high in the third; he was an amazing bad guy, he didn't had to say a word to look evil. But let's talk about the Ghost Protocol, the story starts with Ethan Hunt (also known as Tom Cruise) in prision, I don't want to spoil the story from the film, but let's say than they fail at a mission and the President starts the Ghost Protocol...that's shutting down the entire IMF and all agents are now enemies from the state/world. At last, Final Fantasy XIII-2 has been released in Japan, there has been lots of reviews and all of them say nothing but good things from it... while I only watched the opening (which is awesome!) :: SKYRIM :: review So at last! The most anticipated game of the year has been released, what it worth all this waiting? I really think it was... I'm not going into the game's story, I hate spoiling stuff, so let's say you are a Dragon Son and are the only one who can defeat those amazing creatures, there's a war in between this story and that's it! I'm not saying anything else... This game has a free open world, you can go anywhere and go the hundreds and hundreds of missions that has apart from the main story. There are five big cities and lots of dungeons and smaller "cities" where you can go and do whatever you want. The fights are quite good, not as bad as people say but what I think it's great is the magic and Shouts. The dragons are just amazing, it feels great when you kill your first dragon, like you accomplished something. I know what you all are thinking..."this dude is so freakin' obsessed with Final Fantasy XIII-2!!", well, I am and I am not, so I don't give a damm what you think :) Yes, you all know FFXIII-2 has been announced, but when I say Lightning's back I mean...in the official game cover!! She looks amazing with her new armour/outfit and the feather's give a divine sensation (actually it's part of the game the why she has feathers). They say the game is three years after the events from the first game, and other say it's ten years...so that means whe will be 24 years old or 31 years old...this was just a fun fact. I loved Tintin when I was a kid, haven't read all the comics, but most of them and when I heard Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson were doing a Tintin film, I got excited: two of the greatest directors making a real one of the best comic stories. If you watch this film, you may get angry because they putted together three comics in one film, but they did it very well. I enjoyed to see them in real-life; the film may be CGI but it's so well done they look like real people...and seeing my favourite character, Captain Haddock, in real, is the best thing. Haddock has been my favourite and, my personal opinion, the best character made in the entire Tintin's story/books, and he looks so real and funny in the film, even he has more protagonism than Tintin himself, and that's one of the things I liked it. So many things I have seen in my life but what I never have found is a feeling, a special feeling that never have seen anyone to feel it or even myself...maybe. I want to confess that the first day I played Fallout 3, it was 5 hours with no-stopping, and for the next days I played it it wasn't less than 4 hours. It was very adictive, you were able to do anything, literally. Then Fallout: New Vegas was a letdown, as much as I love Fallout 3, I prefer to wait and see what they do in Fallout 4, because I'm sure it will be awesome. But why am I talking about this? Because the same studio, called Bethesda, is releasing next month a new awesome game called "Skyrim", and it already looks amazing, it already has won a few awards without being released yet. : Johnny English Returns Review : Forget James Bond and Ethan Hunt, Johnny English is the man to save the world! I always enjoy a comedy film, but when Rowan Atkinson is in one, laughs are guaranteed: he makes comedy being completely serious, he makes you laugh without trying to be funny: and that's the best comedy of all, and he's the best doing it! This film starts with English being suspended from his job by a mistake that he did (don't want to spoil anything) but then he is resigned after the MI5 knows that someone is trying to kill the Prime Minister. I liked to see Gilliam Anderson on it, I always remember her as Scully from the X Files, so it's good to see her again on the big screen. The first Arkham Asylum was an amazing surprise: never has been a super-hero videogame as great as Batman A.A....but now after this sequel, an even more awesome game comes alive with Arkham City. Set a few months after the ending of the first game, here it starts with Bruce Wayne taken to the city prision bu Dr. Hugo Strange, the smartest villian in Batman, knowing that he is the Dark Knight, Batman has to come to the "rescue" visiting some old friends and villians...the best surprise was Catwoman, better than ever (and if you have the code to play as her even better!) and Joker's comeback...I always liked the Joker, but this one is by far the greatest ever made. I'm not spoiling anything, because the story of the game is quite interesting, but you'll have more freedom, more secondary missions, more "bad guys", more gadgets and (Small Spoiler coming up) more Riddler!! Holy Moly! It has been a month since I haven't wrote here... You know why? Because it has been a weird month, so many things can happen to you because of the potatoes or the new kind called "super-potatoes", things you could never imagine...they do such stuff everywhere...even now I discovered a new way they use...they control people with food and drinks! But I'm only saying that, nothing more. In a few days, Halloween will come, again...and people will disguise in horrible things, again...but you know the worst part? Why do I not get scared with those things yet I do get scared with normal people? I was kidding about that part....not! Anyway, let's hope or pray that people start chancing once and for all, because soon, well, you-know-what-can-happen and you-know-whose-fault-will-be.

After potatoes won the war against the cucumbers, they lived very happy doing what they always loved to do: be a potato. They were in love with themselves so much than they started changing the cucumbers to popatoes in any possible way. Disguises were first, then there was operations and then brain-washing/chancing/"OMG Where's my brain?" stuff. Ok, I think I know enough things about this upcoming game to make a preview. The game starts just when the last one ended, but now with something different; Lightning's missing. Three years later she's now in a different dimension called Valhala where she's a warrior from the Goddess Etro and must protect the city (still don't know why). But a man called Kaias wants something she wants as well, that's why they keep fighting and he looks like the "bad guy". At the same time, Lightning's sister, Serah, is looking for her and her husband-to-be who is missing too. While writing the review of Deus Ex HR, I was thinking about the future...if you watch the news, what future do you see? I only see darkness, evil everywhere, a future where no one could be able to go out their homes because of the madness that there will be on the streets. I love this title, it sounds so futuristic and real at the same time, it sounds like the title of a movie or a book but it's a videogame, and a good one with a great story...better than many books and I'm a writer so I know what I'm talking about!
