The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Review

:: SKYRIM ::
review

So at last! The most anticipated game of the year has been released, what it worth all this waiting? I really think it was...

I'm not going into the game's story, I hate spoiling stuff, so let's say you are a Dragon Son and are the only one who can defeat those amazing creatures, there's a war in between this story and that's it! I'm not saying anything else...

This game has a free open world, you can go anywhere and go the hundreds and hundreds of missions that has apart from the main story. There are five big cities and lots of dungeons and smaller "cities" where you can go and do whatever you want.

The fights are quite good, not as bad as people say but what I think it's great is the magic and Shouts. The dragons are just amazing, it feels great when you kill your first dragon, like you accomplished something.
The only problem this game has is that there are some "forgettable" bugs and you may lose your real life to play this game :)

· Story: 10/10 - Great story and atmosphere, it makes you feel like you're in a real world, the supporting characters are really good and the misions they gave you are quite amazing, so much to dig in this world you never want to leave/stop playing.
· Graphics: 9.5/10 - Some bugs as said, but the rest is awesome, the animations are very well done, I only miss facial expresions like Final Fantasy XIII. The mountains, the water, the snow, the raining, the fire and so many other things look too real!
· Sound: 10/10 - Great music, I love it, it makes you feel the intense of the situations you're playing, the voices are great as well. I have to say the main song is amazing!
· Duration: 10/10 - 50 hours to complete the main story....more than 200 hours to do it all and by sure you'll miss something....the largest game in story and it doesn't get bored, you only want more, amazing!
· Gameplay: 9.7/10 - Like said, this game it's alive but the only problem it has is the combat system, sometimes it feels too "fake", but not always; the long distance combat, for example, is perfect. The rest is just amazing.

· RATING: 9.8/10 !! - This is by far the greatest game of the year, and one of the best ever made...and it had very good competidors! Never going to stop playing this unforgetable game!

:My Top 10 Games:

1. Final Fantasy XIII (9.8)
2. The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim (9.8)
3. Arkham City / Arkham Asylum (9.7)
4. Deus Ex Human Revolution (9.6)
5. Portal 2 (9.5)
6. Assassin's Creed II (9.5)
7. Dissidia Duodecim: Final Fantasy (9.4)
8. Alan Wake (9.4)
9. Bioshock (9.4)
10. Fallout 3 (9.3)

Oh My God, can't believe it, there's a tie between Final Fantasy XIII and Skyrim...but for a personal reason, I still love FFXIII more, that's why it's still the Number One.

This may be the latest review of the year, as I think I'm going to be stick with Skyrim for some time, that means I'm not buying any more videogames until Final Fantasy XIII-2 (3rd February 2012) and Bioshock Infinite (March 2012). And also waiting for the next Devil May Cry...
