Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol - Review
After watching now all 4 Mission Impossible films, I can say that the last one is without doubt the best one from all.
It's like joining the previous three films together: you take the spy-story from the first one, the action scenes from the second and the drama touch from the third. Maybe the only bad thing this movie has is the villain; maybe Philip Seymour Hoffman putted the level too high in the third; he was an amazing bad guy, he didn't had to say a word to look evil.
But let's talk about the Ghost Protocol, the story starts with Ethan Hunt (also known as Tom Cruise) in prision, I don't want to spoil the story from the film, but let's say than they fail at a mission and the President starts the Ghost Protocol...that's shutting down the entire IMF and all agents are now enemies from the state/world.
Knowing that, Ethan and his group must stop a man who wants to start a nuclear war and so the end of the world (now don't tell me this kind of story is everywhere!)
Besides Tom Cruise, who does the acting like always, and that's not a bad thing, the main cast is quite good especially for Simon Pegg who returns again and this time he gets a major role; he's like the funny side from the film while Tom is the action guy who must do all the dangerous stuff.
The action scenes are crazy, all of them are very well made with a little comedy touch, which I enjoyed a lot. The best scene by far is the entire Burj Khalifa part (the tallest building on Earth), not only by the amazing stunt scenes but by the comedy and the way they must improvise while their first plan to complete their missin is changed like a thousand times.
It's a very funny and serious action film, while the story is not as complex as you think, the action is by far the best from this year!
The Best: Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg are back! The action and comedy scenes.
The Worst: This film has the worst enemy I've seen in years!
RATING: 8/10! Must see!
