Batman Arkham City - Review
The first Arkham Asylum was an amazing surprise: never has been a super-hero videogame as great as Batman A.A....but now after this sequel, an even more awesome game comes alive with Arkham City.
Set a few months after the ending of the first game, here it starts with Bruce Wayne taken to the city prision bu Dr. Hugo Strange, the smartest villian in Batman, knowing that he is the Dark Knight, Batman has to come to the "rescue" visiting some old friends and villians...the best surprise was Catwoman, better than ever (and if you have the code to play as her even better!) and Joker's comeback...I always liked the Joker, but this one is by far the greatest ever made.
I'm not spoiling anything, because the story of the game is quite interesting, but you'll have more freedom, more secondary missions, more "bad guys", more gadgets and (Small Spoiler coming up) more Riddler!! He was one of my faves in the first game, this one he comesback crazier than ever...in a good way.
While this game looks a lot like the previous one, this is a lot bigger, you can't miss this amazing videogame with so much to do and mysteries for the greatest detective of the world. And I may add, being a huge Batman-fan for a long time, this is the closest you can get for the only and true Batman atmosphere.
· Story: 10/10 - Amazing story, very interesting with so many characters and secondary missions. Sometimes it feels like you're in the game. Atmosphere as good as the previous game (and that's a good thing!).
· Graphics: 9.5/10 - Looks big, awesome when it's raining or snowing, amazing graphics!
· Sound: 10/10 - The actors are awesome, specially the Joker, Batman, Riddler and Hugo Strange, the music is very intense...I love it!
· Duration: 9.5/10 - 20 hours to complete the main story and 40 hours to complete it all! Plus New Game + with more difficulty and with all the gadgets from the start!
· Gameplay: 10/10 - You are Batman, and you can do what he can do, anything...too good.
·RATING: 9.7/10 ! By far, one of the greatest games of the year and maybe the best one of 2011!!!
