Ranking - Top 10 Best PlayStation 4 Games

Everybody remembers when Sony announced the first PlayStation, what the hell were they thinking? Competing against Nintendo and Sega? They are crazy!

Now they're one of the top selling consoles in history with a list of thousand of video games from each generation. PS1 and PS2 era was epic and while this current one is actually more filled with remasters and remakes rather than original games, it's still has its pearls.

Here's my personal Top 10 of favourite games from the PlayStation 4.

Let's start!

10. Death Stranding

It's not a game for everyone but we can agree it made its difference. While the gameplay can be too repetitive and "boring" sometimes, they epic plot makes you want to go until the end. Amazing casting (like a Hollywood movie) and a thrilling story filled with mystery, and don't make me talk about the photorealistic graphics...

9. Persona 5

An amazing JRPG filled with amazing characters and an intriguing plot. While it may be tedious for some people for its long cinematic scenes and conversations between characters, the exploration of Tokyo and great turn-based fights makes it epic with an inspiring art. Plus the chance to do so many things in the city and date other characters, this 100 hour-plus game is worth trying.

8. Ghost of Tsushima

Set in federal Japan, this epic story of samurais set in the beautiful island called Tsushima. The main plot is quite simple and easy to follow and the main characters are not that unforgettable but the brutal gameplay and beauty of the so realistic graphics makes this journey epic and wishing to be there. It may get repetitive like any other open world game but the setting is too unique to let it go.

7. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Open world, epic story, diverse side quests, unforgettable main characters, amazing graphics, adult elements, real life problems and violence. This is all this game offers with a perfect exploration gameplay and near-great fighting system. This game will make you wanna play it everyday until the end.

6. Dragon Quest XI : Echoes of an Elusive Age

Another JRPG turned-based combat made by Square-Enix. Some people this is the greatest game of the franchise and they're NOT wrong. You'll fall in love with the characters and the twisted main story that will make you wonder how it is there're no more games like this one. The fighting is addicting and the side quests are worth doing them.

5. Final Fantasy XV

The first open world Final Fantasy, set in a modern day era where you're a prince and with your other three friends are set to an epic adventure. The huge map will make you wonder everywhere thanks to your car and do the so many repetitive side quests. But the game shines with its cast of characters and amazing story with an ending will leave you speechless.

4. Uncharted 4 : A Thief's End

The last story from one of the most famous archaeologists that's not Lara Croft or Indiana Jones. The story is filled with emotions and amazing action sequences that will make your heart beat faster. Everything is too perfect, from the fighting scenes to the exploration of the world.

3. Tomb Raider

Lara Croft has been around for a long time but it's now when she feels better than ever. There have been three different games but it's too hard to choose which one is better so I'm putting all three games in this second place. Great exploration, great fighting, thrilling story, lots of side quests and objects to collect and an almost open world that fits perfectly beautifully.

2. NieR Automata

A great and unexpected surprise from Platinum Games and Square Enix. The story is mind blowing, the characters feel too real and the emptiness of the world fits perfectly with everything. The fighting system is fast-paced and...too perfect, I can't actually find anything wrong in this game, I love it too much!

1. Final Fantasy VII Remake

This game was released not long ago but it's already my favourite of all. A remake from the original Final Fantasy VII made back in 1997. This is the first part of a multiple franchise as it only takes like 8% of the original game. They did an excellent job making amazing fast-paced fights but with old RPG elements and a thrilling story with new twists. Plus the chance to see the old favourite characters and scenes in photorealistic graphics is just too much to ask for...
