Ranking - Top 10 Favourite Final Fantasy Games
My first Final Fantasy game ever was VII. I played in 1998 for the first time and I absolutely loved it since the first second while watching the amazing opening scene.
More than 20 years and with fifteen different and original main games, I am happy to say I've played all of them!!
Anyway, it was a hard ranking to make (as all of them), but here they are my favourite Final Fantasy games of all time.
Let's start!

Anyway, it was a hard ranking to make (as all of them), but here they are my favourite Final Fantasy games of all time.
Let's start!
10. Final Fantasy VIII
A great new world with amazing characters and a good but not perfect battle system. The main story is thrilling with some great and surprising moments. Some battles are memorable, especially the final boss that can take you up to five hours to finish it.

9. Final Fantasy VI
Amazing casting and a great plot. The chance to play as so many characters while trying to defeat one of the best villains ever created make this a wild ride. The fact the entire games changes completely around half of the game makes it even better. I really hope they make a remake of this someday.

8. Final Fantasy XII
Different from the others, mixing an original story with medieval elements and a MMOPG-style fighting system. The plot sounds and looks like a Star Wars inspired fan story mixed with old classic Final Fantasy elements and characters but, surprisingly, it works fine. The fights are different than ever and may be hard to get used to them but once you've done it, it's a great game.
7. Final Fantasy IX
Great story filled with magic and fantasy and unforgettable characters. Amazing and inspiring plot where you'll care about the main characters more than ever as you travel with them around the world trying to save everyone from a possible invasion. The fighting system is the same old as always and that's a great thing!
6. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
The second Final Fantasy Online game ever made. While I admit I started playing it around two months ago, I must say I'm having the time of my life. Great story plot filled with hundreds of main quests and thousands of side quests. This never ending game with fun and perfect battle system makes the hours (and money) worth it. Plus the chance to create your own character at your will and go in an adventure with him/her in this bast world is just epic.

5. Final Fantasy XV
Originally called "Final Fantasy Versus XIII", this game made it good enough to become a main game. An open world where you can go anywhere you want to with your amazing car and four new friends. While you can only use the main character at all times and the battles are too easy and have practically no strategy at all, the game is fun enough thanks to the so many side quests, exploration and thrilling story that makes you remember the old goodies.

4. Final Fantasy XIII
As I said before, this entry was a love-it or hate-it game and I really loved. Perfect main character and the rest of them are so so but fit perfectly in this hunt-down story. The combat system was too revolutionary at its time for the real-time, change-jobs and faster than ever, you can even lose a fight by just pressing the button one second late. The plot was easy to follow and predictable as well but the ending part made it perfect.

3. Final Fantasy X
The first game to have voices and fully 3D environments! This game has a great cast of characters and an amazing fighting system based in turns. The story is quite similar to what we are used to and some predictable elements but it's still breathtaking with a beautiful ending that will make you cry for sure. I really loved the relations between characters and the very expanded post-game after finishing the game. Nowadays is still a classic everyone loves. It's a real shame the sequel wasn't that good...

2. Final Fantasy VII
Maybe because it was my first Final Fantasy but I love every bit of it. The amazing casting, the perfect fighting system turn-based, the great open world map with lots of places to explore, the cities, the unforgettable villains and the amazing and epic scenes that will stay always in my heart. I can't wait for the remake...Oh, wait, here it is...
1. Final Fantasy VII Remake
Making one of the best video-games ever in a full HD hyperrealistic with an amazing and faster than ever real time combat system. The chance to see your favourite characters and memorable moments like this is too good to be true. The bad thing? We'll have to wait for some years and new parts to live the entire experience like in the original.
