Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope - Review

A long time a go in a galaxy far, far away...

EPISODE IV

A NEW HOPE

The first film of Star Wars released in 1977 was a big surprise for many people and an inspiration for the next films to come...it's a classic and hard to find someone doesn't know it...This is the first film of the old trilogy, the best one from both!

The main protagonist here is Luke Skywalker, a young boy who knows there's something else in the universe, a boy who never met his real parents and lives with an empty place inside him he's looking to fullfil. The actor here Mark Hamill plays it greatly in this film and in the other ones as well, he's a great main character and a likely one, in my personal opinion, my favourte character from the entire saga...

Just one word: EPIC

Plot: Luke Skywalker, a spirited farm boy, joins rebel forces to save Princess Leia from the evil Darth Vader, and the galaxy from the Empire's planet-destroying Death Star.
Simple and easy to understand yet very complex with many characters and differents plots, as this was the first film of all we didn't know anything about their past and their future so it was really thrilling, to see Darth Vader for the first time as one of the greatest villian ever, you can see always his fury. The dialogues are very well written and the action scenes are amazing and very interesting and highly detailed.

Maybe one of the most famous characters in this film is Harrison Ford's Han Solo, he's a great character that everyone loves only for his attitude of antihero. Also Princess Leia and her arrogance in this episode is very nice. Not to forget the old Obi-Wan Kenobi, who this time is an old Master Jedi living alone and away from the Empire. I have to say that all the actors and characters from this film are amazing, I can only say good things about them...

· What I liked most: Acting is amazing, serious plot with comedy elements. Han Solo, Luke and Leia's triangle. The beginning of everything...

· What I didn't like: The starts feels too long and slow paced while the ending is fast paced. I expected a little more about lightsabers figths.
