Batman: Arkham Origins - Review

Image
After a long, long time (almost eight months!) here it is, another videogame review! Why haven't I posted anyone of those until now? Because I haven't played any game that good to put it in here (sorry but I don't like GTA V, it's the same boring missions and stuff as always)...well, maybe I forgot to put Rayman Legends review here because that game is fun and very re-playable! Black Mask, a villain from Batman Universe, offers fifty millions to the assassin who kills Batman, this is the plot, it's simple yet very interesting...I'm not going to say anything but I like it even more than the last two games. You will see familiar faces and new ones only a few years younger as this game takes place with a very amateur Batman but way more aggressive and I liked that! This younger Batman is way more aggressive to the criminals, the battles are still the greatest from all videogames! I have to say that the face I wanted to see was the Joker's, he's yo...

The Fifth Estate Review

Image
I'm quite sure this film is not going to be a hit like some others because of the press and Julian Assange himself, I have to add it is not an awesome film as it shows only the view from people who are against Wikileaks...and it should show the founder's view as well, something that doesn't do. The film explains everything Wikileaks has done from 2007 to 2010 and nothing more, it explains the story of how Daniel Berg becomes partner with Julian Assange to show the secrets to the world by internet. The film remembers a little bit to "The Social Network" but this one doesn't arrive to the same level. The main character is interpreted excellent by Benedict Cumberbatch, he does an amazing job and he is the main (and only) reason to watch this movie, he really deserves an academy award as he makes Assange look like himself...the sad part is that we don't see the 100% of Assange here, only what they want us to see... The rest of the cast is average only...

The Butler - Review

Image
The film talks about the life of Cecil Gaines, a butler who worked in the White House for eight presidents, from Eisenhower to Reagan...while the film has lots of actos who won an oscar, it still loses the interest over the main character. Cecil Gaines was a sharecropper's son who grew up in the 1920s as a domestic servant for the white family who casually destroyed his. Eventually striking out on his own, Cecil becomes a hotel valet of such efficiency and discreteness in the 1950s that he becomes a butler in the White House itself. There, Cecil would serve numerous US Presidents over the decades as a passive witness of history with the American Civil Rights Movement gaining momentum even as his family has troubles of its own. As his wife, Gloria, struggles with her addictions and his defiant eldest son, Louis, strives for a just world, Cecil must decide whether he should take action in his own way. Forest Whitaker does a good job as the kind and respectful butler but it mis...

Save the Day for the Doctor

Doctor Who special 50th Anniversary episode is coming soon...and while we don't have any trailers showing scenes of it, we can see this amazing well done teaser where all 11 Doctors appear... It's also quite interesting to see how the 11th Doctor (Matt Smith) will be regenerated to the next one (Peter Capaldi)...will it be emotional, funny, sad? Who knows!

Joker is back!

Image
The game Arkham Origins coming out 25th October with the Joker again but the bad news were when Mark Hammill said he wasn't going to do the Joker never again....so they had to find a new voice for him, in this case they found Troy Baker, who has done amazing jobs in Final Fantasy XIII, Bioshock Infinite and The Last of Us, it was hard to see him as the Clown of Crime but after he read the monologue from The Killing Joke live acting as the Joker, I can say he will do an excellent job!! Here's the video of the reading, it's quite an amazing voice he has done:
