Arkham Knight - Gotham is Mine

:: SPOILERS FROM ARKHAM ASYLUM AND CITY::

Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City were two of my favourite games from last generation of consoles; they had everything you ever want in a videogame like great gameplay, awesome characters and a intriguing plot with some twist at the end that makes you wanna comeback again... it's actually a little sad the games of today don't have these feautures. They may have a great gameplay or a interesting story but not both things together (there are a few examples like The Order: 1886, Evolve and Dying Light).

But it seems like the king is coming back this year, the 2nd of June exactly, with a sequel called "Arkham Knight" where we'll see the last adventure of the dark knight. One year after the death of the Joker during the events of Arkham City. Batman is struggling to come to terms with the absence of his nemesis and the uncomfortable feeling that the pair shared a bond deeper than either could admit. Without the Joker's chaotic presence, Gotham's citizens have never felt safer, and crime in the city has dramatically declined. However, this gives Batman's enemies, including Penguin, Two-Face, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn, a chance to unite with the singular goal of killing Batman. On Halloween night, Scarecrow threatens the city with his newly created strain of fear toxin and bombs planted throughout Gotham, forcing the evacuation of the city's six million civilians. Only criminals remain in the city, leaving Commissioner Gordon and the Gotham City Police outnumbered.  Anticipating a new threat, Batman continues to develop crime-fighting technology, and maintains a vigil over the city.

The greatest enemy of the Batman, after the Joker of course, is back with a vengeance. Scarecrow had the most amazing scenes in "Asylum" and my personal favourites (remember the one when it seems like your console is crashing but it's actually part of the game?). But this time he's playing much bigger threathing the entire city of Gotham with a new allie on his side, a mysterious person named Arkham Knight.

The gameplay seems like it's going to be the same with some new animations in a much bigger map (Times 5 bigger than Arkham City) with some new gadgets for sure including the amazing Batmobile for the first time in this saga.

A few hours ago they just released the ESRB Rating and it got a M for "blood, language, suggestive themes and violence." but that won't be an issue as it looks like its going to be the Game of the Year! Check out the brand new trailer with the scary Scarecrow threating us and a few more scenes with Harley Quinn, Two-Face and, for the first time, Poison Ivy!

Plus, if you haven't seen it yet, a small glimpse about the awesome Batmobile!
