RIP Leonard Nimoy

Image
A sad day for science fiction fans. He was a hero for a lot of people, including me. He created one of the most likeable characters in history and became a legend in everything he did. he was known for being the Star Trek character Spock, but he wasn't just Spock. He did so many things from photography to directing to writing... He was an artist and a great person, someone who didn't mind meeting fans and posing in pictures.  The whole world will think about him today, I'm just so sad I actually never met him but I want to thank him for everything he has done. The only way I can think of telling him good-bye is this: "Live Long and Prosper" LEONARD SIMON NIMOY 26th March 1931 - 27 February 2015 It's hard to believe this scene from "Warth of Khan" could be so sad right now after watching it so many times...

Epic Rap Battles of History

Image
A new thing I just found on YouTube are these funny Rap Battles between different real and fictional characters from history. They have been doing this stuff for a couple of years and you can check their official page right here: EPIC RAP BATTLES OF HISTORY The funny thing about those ones are the lyrics that have lots of references about their real personalities and the great detail in their disguises and landspaces/backgrounds. You can check some of their videos here, these ones are my fave ones: Doc Brown (Back to the Future) VS. The Doctor (Doctor Who) Steven Spielberg VS. Afred Hitchcock (One of my Top Favourites!) Bill Gates (Microsoft) VS. Steve Jobs (Apple) Batman VS. Sherlock Holmes

Arkham Knight - Gotham is Mine

Image
:: SPOILERS FROM ARKHAM ASYLUM AND CITY:: Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City were two of my favourite games from last generation of consoles; they had everything you ever want in a videogame like great gameplay, awesome characters and a intriguing plot with some twist at the end that makes you wanna comeback again... it's actually a little sad the games of today don't have these feautures. They may have a great gameplay or a interesting story but not both things together (there are a few examples like The Order: 1886, Evolve and Dying Light). But it seems like the king is coming back this year, the 2nd of June exactly, with a sequel called "Arkham Knight" where we'll see the last adventure of the dark knight. One year after the death of the Joker during the events of Arkham City. Batman is struggling to come to terms with the absence of his nemesis and the uncomfortable feeling that the pair shared a bond deeper than either could admit. Without the Joker...

Frozen Fever Brand New Trailer plus more!

Image
Just a few moments ago, the first and only one trailer for the upcoming Disney short sequel of Frozen named "Frozen Fever" was released. It runs around 40 seconds and that's all we are going to get until the release of it along with Cinderella in cinemas the 27th March. Thanks to the trailer we can clearly see what it is going to be about; Elsa is happier than ever making a surprise birthday party for Anna but, for some reason, she gets cold and her powers come out of hand making the party at risk. Here's the trailer and some beautiful screenshots!

Frozen is back with short-sequel "Frozen Fever"

Image
This was news last year, Disney confirmed they were making a short-film sequel to Frozen that will be released the 13th of March with the real-action movie "Cinderella", directed by the great Kenneth Branagh. Today, for the first time since forever (get it?), some pictures have been released showing us what its going to be about. Set after the events of Frozen (that's why it's called a "sequel") Elsa has weighed down her royal duties becoming a princess again while trying to cheer up her sister by throwing a birthday party. We'll see a new face of Elsa that hasn't been show in the film. But not everything is perfect, Elsa becomes cold but in a different way that will have some surprises: "Elsa doesn't get a cold in the usual way, she's special. Surprising things occur that wreak a little havoc." said by Frozen director Jennifer Lee. We won't see just Elsa and Anna, the favourites and funny Olaf and Sven will show up as wel...

Jurassic World's New Trailer

Image
I remember watching the original Jurassic Park when I was a little kid, I loved every little bit of it. Then, after two really bad sequels, seems like they learned something and are trying what every fan wanted to see; a movie where the park is open to the public! The film will be set twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar, off Costa Rica's Pacific coast, now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. This new park is owned by the Masrani Global Corporation. Owen (played by Chris Pratt), a member of the park's on-site staff, conducts behavioral research on the Velociraptors. At the corporation's request, the park's geneticists create the Indominus Rex, a genetically modified hybrid dinosaur, to boost visitor attendance, but it soon breaks loose and runs wild on the island, forcing the staff to consider unique measures to stop it. A new trailer has been released at this year...
