Prometheus Review

"A team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race."

First of all, I loved the trailer of this film, it was very well done, giving images and no clue about the plot.

For the people who asks themselves "What the heck does Prometheus mean?", that's the name of the spaceship from the film and makes reference to a greek god.
This is a prequel far away from the first Alien, once you watch the ending of Prometheus there will be many questions without answer and I'm pretty sure that we'll see a second part of it.
She could have had more scenes, she had a very interesting character...
The plot of the film is very simple and easy for everyone's brain, the problem is that those questions I said before are never answered and it's something could have been solved if the writting was better made.
The casting is very well played, everyone did their characters very real, I have to mention Michael Fassbender as the android David 8 who makes believable that it's not human. Special mention to Charlize Theron as well playing what she can do best; a woman no-one can tame. What's a real shame is that the secondary characters don't have much scenes shown...

The best from this film are the sci-fi effects, they look so real you can't compare what's real and what's computer-generated, it's amazing how time changes and how they make a giant ship out of computers...anyway, the horror scenes look very real and awesome as well but these are not as frigthering as the ones shown on the previous Alien films or even in the last Predators movie.

It's an enjoyable film, and you don't need to know much about the "Alien" world to understand it, but I'd have liked it more conections to the old movies.

The Best: Sci-Fi effects and the entire casting
The Worst: The plot misses a few things...

RATING: 8 / 10
I want "that" ship!
