The Amazing Spider-Man Review

Plot: "Peter Parker (Garfield) is an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-al/tering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero."

I have been a spiderman fan since I was a kid, who hasn`t? When they released the first trilogy of this great character I was amazed but didn't liked it much because of the main characters (In my case, the only good thing of the original film is the Green Goblin and nothing else). I actually never liked Tobey Maguire neither Kirsten Dunst much...

Who can't fall in love with Emma Stone?
But when they said they were reboothing the series I was very excited to have another change to make a good Spider-Man film. When they released the main actor I was surprised as I just had seen him in the Social Network and I liked his work....then there's Emma Stone, who I started "following" her since Zombieland.
Then I saw the first trailer and I was even more excited, this was the film I was waiting for and, even some bad reviews that are out there on the internet, I have to say this is a great film. The actors are amazing especially Mr. Garfield as Peter Parker/Spiderman and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy....the Lizard is very well made and its alter-ego, Dr. Connors is good as well.

The main story is much darker than the previous films, you will learn about the secrets of Parker's father and will see a more real Spiderman that has feelings, doubts and is not inmortal, when he gets hurt, you see his pain and blood...this is like a version of The Dark Knight, chancing some elements from the real story to make it look more real, and it gets it well done!
The love-story here is also a main theme as you can see how Gwen and Peter start their relationship with her father, the Captain of the police department, in the middle.

The Best: The main actors, a more real story and Spider-man!
The Worst: The start is a little slow...

RATING: 9/10!!

A must see if you love super-hero films!
Can't wait to see the rest of this new and amazing trilogy!
