Mr. Popper's Penguins
Jim Carrey has been one of my "must-see-all-his-films-in-cinemas" actor, I've done it with all his films since I remember (maybe the first Ace Ventura??) and his new work is not an exception...
Mr.Popper is a family movie, there are no violence, no sexual references and no bad words, and all that is good if you put Jim as the star!
He makes a character that has played many times: A divorced that wants to spend more time with his kids but doesn't have time enough and/or his kids doesn't like him much, until a box with penguins arrives and saves his relationship with his family. And the penguins, sometimes real and sometimes made by computer, are very funny.
This is not the greatest Jim Carrey movie, but it's not the worst one, I really enjoyed it and I wouldn't mind to watch it again!
THE BEST: Jim Carrey's back! the penguins are really funny
THE WORST: Jim can do way better films, stop doing a divorced guy with stupid kids...you deserve better! ;)
