The Artist - Review

She is the best of the film, funny and very kind I have seen lots of films this new and "weird" year, but this is the one that shocked me. I love classic cinema, black and white films and specially comedy ones like the amazing Marx Brothers. When I heard a silent b&w film was nominated for the Academy Awards, I wanted to watch it so badly...didn't have enough time, until today. The film is mute, black and white and tells the story of a famous silent actor that his life turns down after the sound films are being made. That's the main plot, simple yet fantastic. The star of this film is the main character and his amazing and funny dog, but the best is for Bérénice Bejo who acts as an actress who starts making films as an extra and ends as the most famous because of her being the first one who makes a movie with sound and voice, she's the best of the film.
